I have BLU ADVANCE 5.0 HD which was bought for me from the US. It works fine except that any SIM i insert can’t access 3g/4g network. when I select the 3g/4g option, the network goes off for the different cellular providers. I have checked the APN settings too and is still give me EDGE. Please, I will be grateful for your help because I don’t know what to do again. I currently in Ghana. thanks for your help
Check the band on which your Carrier operates and the compatible bands your phone can accept. Sometimes foreign carriers use a frequency that your phone can’t utilize. You also might have to register the imei of the device with your carrier. What carrier are you using?
I have the exact same problem. Phone is not using 3g/4g network (only 2g) I am in Senegal Using Orange as carrier.
Have the exact problem using mtn though in Uganda currently how best can I get my 3g and 4g working thanks.
It’s a rubbish phone, how will you build a phone in this 21st century limiting the network to US or whatever and lying to keep visiting providers for false configuration.
