Chosen Solution

I just recently took my B&S 675 apart to clean and check some things and in the midst of putting the engine back together one of the two “springs” for the throttle cable that connects to the carburetor came off. I can not for the life of me figure out how to put the bastard back on correctly, can anyone post a picture of the throttle cable springs connecting to the carburetor on this engine? This engine is on my Briggs & Stratton Earthquake auger with the 675 series engine. Thank you!

Hi, I don’t know if this is helpful or not but it is a video for a B&S 675 motor. Between 2:40 to 3:13 minutes into the video two springs near the carburetor are shown. There is also a good view of the spring connection points at 6:27 minutes in. Hopefully these are the ones you are interested in and that it is of some help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnsUsSsp
