Chosen Solution
Can someone please tell me where I can get the correct USB port replacement for this device? I have ordered them off of eBay two separate times now and both times they have been incorrect. If anyone can help me locate the 100% correct charge port I would be very appreciative. It is for the 8th Gen model #L5S83A. Thanks, I have waited too long to fix this tablet already.
Ben Unfortunately that link Jayeff posted is to a USB port for the 7th Gen Fire HD 10 USB port. The correct one you need is this: Fire HD 8 L5S83A 8th gen USB port Also if you do a search for USB ports using that model you will find more of the same incorrect ports which you said you already purchased twice already. This is the only one I found that has the correct port pictured. Looks like they used a motherboard to show them matching side by side. Hope this helps. Best Richard
