I took apart my iPod to fix the speaker, it went well until the ribbon connecting the glass and LCD torn in half! Is there any way of fixing this myself?
Mario, You will need to replace the digitizer glass. The fragile ribbon cable is not repairable, only replaceable.
Mario is correct. Just make sure you get a replacement for the 3rd gen and not the 2nd as they are different. iRefresh
