I have a 1995-2005 Chevrolet Cavalier 2000. Can you plug the wiring in the wrong place? l had it all unplugged and replaced the head. Now will not start.

mcberta1, this car has an electric fuel pump, protected by a fuse, and switched by a relay. Remember that there is also the switch that will prevent the fuel pump from running unless your engine has oil pressure. The should be a fuel pump test lead, Check on the rear of the drivers side front shock absorber tower. It is usually red and about 6" long with a spade adapter. If you run a jumper wire on that, it should start your fuel pump. If that runs the pump, then you have problems in the oil pressure wiring. Check the fuse controlling this circuit. It should be under the hood behind the passenger front shock tower. There should be an orange wire with a black plastic housing, that is the fuse. Check it for continuity.Of course, a bad crank shaft position sensor can be causing this as well. These are the hardest fixes, since trouble shooting is difficult. Make sure that all wires are connected, as well as all vacuum lines. Hope this helps to get you started.

If the air bags have been deployed will the car still start
