Hey everyone! Is there a way to have my iPhone 4s work forever? I have recently developed a severe issue with my hand from using my 6 but my 4s doest work quite right. For example, with Facebook messenger or imessage i sometimes don’t get texts, but i see that I’m missing them because they show up on my iPad or iPhone 6 is there a way for my 4s to work forever? thoughts ? my hand will really greatly appreciate your help thanks
The battery can be replaced repeatedly. However some ICs cannot be repaired if they stop working from wear and tear. The other problem is that Apple stopped pushing new iOS updates for this model. This means apps are not supported either. If you ever reset your phone, you likely will not be able to redownload the apps on it. If you want a similar phone, get the iPhone SE or 5S, which are under $200USD.
