Hi, I just bought just glass top for iPhone 4 from eBay. But I read the glass top and LCD panel cannot be separated. Is that correct? So, do I must to buy a glass top with already attached LCD panel? Thank you, have a great day!
You can do glass only, but it’s not for most people. The odds of failure are extremely high for a beginner. For most people you’re better off replacing the screen and assembly. This is more expensive, but it isn’t prone to failure like the “glass only” method.
