My son spilled a water on my late 2013 MBP, and after a logic board cleaning and replacing the dc power adapter, I still get nothing when I plug it in. I found a cheap 2017 15” with a broken screen, and wondered if I can swap out the display from my old one on to it. The compatibility lists I have been finding don’t really give me a solid answer. Thanks in advance.
It’s a physically larger screen so I would imagine it wouldn’t work. Have you tried connecting the liquid damaged machine to an external monitor? I have the same one myself and I know they have an HDMI port.
