The battery in my phone is loose. I’m going to order some adhesive strips but i want to know if rubber cement is usable? Is there any science (yes) behind what i can and cannot use in my phone? Cotton for example.
Tesa would do the job but gives you !&&* the day you have to replace your battery. Nowadays one can find Apple style pull and release battery adhesive, it’s also included with the iFixit kit iPhone 6s Battery
I wouldn’t use any type of cement/paste or glue. Just use those adhesive strips. Just don’t want anything that can produce static, plus you’ll want to be able to replace your battery in the future if it ever gets old again.
The best adhesive for your battery would be some Tesa tape. Buy some 4 mm Tesa tape, use as much as you need. I wouldn’t use rubber cement in your phone because it can conduct/produce static that can mess with your phone’s logic board. Tesa 61395 Tape
