So, I recently purchased a macbook unibody from late 2009. It didn’t come with the bottom aluminum case. I would definitely purchase it, but here in Brazil I just can’t find one available at a fair price. Would bottom cases from other macbooks fit here? Specifically, the A1278, which is also 13” and I found for sale at a very reasonable price.

The A1278 ran from 2009-2012. The bottom cases are interchangeable, so get it. Update (06/23/2021) No, it will not work on a A1342. MacBook Unibody (A1342) Lower Case
