i took out the back fan and the cpu fan from the heatsink but also the cpu isnt underneath the heat sink its a couple of inches away from the heat sink and the fan
Short answer: NO. This will burn your CPU out, if it doesn’t shut itself down to prevent it from killing the CPU in the first place. HP’s do not run without a fan, or at least become very naggy. This is intentional because you need to have the CPU fan. This happens at the BIOS level.
