Hello, so I messed up the cable on the home button from a 8plus but I have a parts 8. So I wanted to slap the home button from that into the plus. Is that able to be done and will the Touch ID not work?
No it will not work. None of the home button functions will work. Even if you had an 8 plus home button. You need to purchase a universal home button for the return to home function to work, of course you will not have touch ID.
