I have a customer that broke there screen and the home button cable ripped and I don’t have any iPhone 6S home button fin stock. Can I use an iPhone 6 home button on a 6S?
No, they are not cross-compatible. When in doubt, take a look at the product listings here on iFixit…they will state if a part can be used on more than one device. iPhone 6/6 Plus Home Button
You might be able to, you might just have to test the fit before you actually insert it into the device. Also check the ribbon cables to make sure that they will fit and reach. Note that the Touch ID functionality will be lost.
