Hi can I use alcohol wipes to clean the metal to metal contacts? Or can anyone tell me apart from windex what I can use? I also have some stuff I bought to remove thermal paste would that do? Thanks in advance
Emma, not sure about the stuff you got to remove thermal paste, but I prefer to purchase isopropyl alcohol from my local pharmacist in a concentration greater than 90%. Alcohol pads only have 70% with 30% being mostly water. Check this guide and see if it helps a bit.
Yes you can use alcohol to clean with a brush, after that Dry it with the Hot Air and leave it cool down then u can put your mother board back to the phone. Good luck
