Hi! I’m repairing the screen of my galaxy note 3(just the glass) and have heard that I need a blow dryer or heat gun to melt the glue and remove the glass. I don’t own any of these and was wondering if I could use the metal tip of a hot glue gun to melt the glue by pressing it up against the phone. Thank you!
Good way to burn the LCD wouldn’t try it . you need an even overall heat to soften the glue. tip of a glue gun will just heat the spot you touch.
Wouldn’t recommended it… highly suggest a Heat Gun or Hair Dryer
