Hello , I just bought a new laptop from Asus… It’s the R510ze model.. I wanted to upgrade my ram from 4gb to 8 gb.. but I don’t see any places I could open on the bottom.. it’s all like one piece.. any help would be much appreciated
Hi, The RAM slots are located on the underside of the motherboard. To gain access to the slots you have to remove the motherboard from the case. The maximum amount of RAM that can be installed is 16Gb (2 x 8Gb DDR3L-1600MHz). Here is a link which shows how to dis-assemble an Asus R510.
