My MSI GV62 7RE has a full HD 60 Hz panel, but the next model 8RE has 120 Hz. So can someone please tell me how I can change with a 120 Hz panel and make it work? Also please recommend the panel which will work with my laptop
SUNIRBAN SARKAR it will not be an issue with the computer but you need to investigate the panel. You will need to get the datasheets for both panels. You need the labels from the back of those panels so you know the exact manufacturer and model and version number for the panels. Then you need to compare the electrical properties to see if the panels are “wired” identical or else they will not fit. If the are identical then you need to check your display drivers to see if your computer supports those. Not an easy task but start with the data for the panels.
