I recently bought an SAMSUNG 860 EVO Series 2.5" 2TB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) on sale, was wondering if it was compatible with my Macbook Pro 13” Early 2015? If so, would I need to buy another other accessories such as cables? Looks like I currently have a 500 GB SSD with an Apple SSD Controller Apple SSD Controller: Vendor: Apple Product: SSD Controller Physical Interconnect: PCI Link Width: x4 Link Speed: 5.0 GT/s Description: AHCI Version 1.30 Supported Thanks!
Not possible unless you have the 860 Pro NVME m.2 SSD which your one is a SATA based one which can’t be used with this adapter (it has issues with sleep mode on the MacBook so not reliable): https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PCI-E-x4-M-2…
No. Your machine uses a Apple proprietary blade: MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 SSD Replacement Outside of an Apple original, here are your options from OWC https://eshop.macsales.com/upgrades/macb…
