Hi guys, I attempted to repair my screen yesterday by removing only the glass but damaged the screen. To test if id broken it i plugged it in and connected my phone to itunes which proved what i thought. Now i have no means of turning it off again. I have a full screen replacement on the way and was wondering if i can connect the screen to the phone while its on? If not, will removing the battery while its on do any damage to it? Thanks :)
If the screen is still on the phone and you can use the phone button press home button to light up the screen now press and hold home button and power together as soon as you see the screen turn off take fingers off both buttons. That will be it shut off. Failing that just unclip the battery with a non static tool or plastic pick an you should be grand have had to do this on many occasion without damaging the iphone
Yes you can but make sure phone screen is not on like make sure you hit power button first to shut screen off then connect everything except the power ribbon cable make sure that’s last then put that one in put screen fully together then it will work guaranteed it I’ve repaired cou tlesss phones iPads android tablets windows tablets….
