I want to take off the rear of the Macintosh plus case and still be safe? i only want to take the back off and clean it. I dont want to touch any of the components.
Yes, taking the cover off and not putting your hands on the side mounted power supply you’ll be OK. Use a paint brush to scrub the surfaces to loosen the dust and then use a can of can’ed air to blow it away. Don’t touch the yoke as you could alter its alignment and the CRT tube its self is fragile! So don’t bang it!
