I have a Macbook Air model a1369 with 2GB of Ram and a 256GB hard drive. I’m looking at buying a newer model a1466 with 8GB of Ram, but the drive is only 128GB. Since I’d need to transfer all my programs and data anyway, is it possible to simply swap drives? I know there are most likely hardware changes, so I’m concerned that the laptop won’t function.
Unfortunately not. The A1369 & A1370 use aa SATA interface. The A1466 uses a PCI-E.
