Hello, I need to change my macbook air and I want to take my ssd to other macbook air, same model. Will it boot without any problems and losing data? Just like with Windows PC? Thanks!
As long as you are careful and both systems are running the same macOS version as Apple upgraded the file system from HFS+ to APFS which requires a firmware upgrade.
