My charging port has a mind of its own. Can I replace the whole motherboard. I don’t have the capability to do the micro soldering. And will doing this reset my phone?
You can replace the motherboard since the port is soldered to this, just make sure it is the correct version (check model number on sticker under battery. The data is stored on the board, so you will not have your data if you swap this.
