the hose in the contacthead of my vacuum has split, can I replace it
Hi, Here is a link to the parts available for a Dyson DC08 (select your particular variant, although the hose is the same for all variants) http://shop.dyson.com.au/spare-parts?ran… Here is the part number for the hose, 905377-01 (if this is the hose that you mean). If it is what you mean, then if you search online, using just the part number in the search term, you will get a list of suppliers, which may suit you better as to the cost of the part. Here is an image of what I mean.

I believe jr.trhodes was talking about the short flexible hose within the contact head. I have the same problem and Dyson told me there are no spare p[arts available. It’s obviously a weak link in the design as it takes a beating and is constantly being flexed. A real shame Dyson doesn’t do more to help it’s customers as the vacuum cleaner is efficient and expensive but one small hose brings it to a halt - or you buy an entire contact head and have to throw the old one away instead of repairing it.
