Do you have instructions, tools, and parts necessary to replace the battery in my Dell XPS 9360?
Hi @meggaines Well i think it is fairly easy to replace the battery if you have the correct tools, small plus + screw driver head. Based on the experiences on almost similar models, you will need to remove the screws at the base. Once the screws has been removed, remove the plastic base to expose the internals. Remove two screw that were holding onto the battery. Remove the battery connector from the mainboard and remove the whole battery module. The concern is to get good batteries. Im not sure if ifixit does sell dell batteries, of course you may check with dell, with your service tag to check if they do sell the batteries. Normally for batteries, I tend to look at original if possible and reputable shops, as counterfeit batteries are plenty on market, which safety and power capacity is a concern. Lastly to add, some experience, some batteries may have detachable cables which you may need to remove out from the old battery and reuse it to connect to the new battery to the mainboard.
