I would like to know if someone can replace the motor control unit and motor to a Kenmore HE4T washing machine. I would like to do it myself if possible. I would buy the parts myself.

rm2sm, it is most certainly possible for you to replace it. The motor controller should be on the left side behind the lower access panel and the motor. Once you remove the panel you should see it. Hope this helps, good luck.

Your machine is actually a Whirlpool. Kenmore (Sears/KMart) doesn’t actually make ANYthing. So you may want to start by finding which model of Whirlpool washer you have and get parts from them.
