Chosen Solution

I’ve noticed many 1600mah aftermarket batteries being sold as iPhone SE batteries, but the SE comes with a 1624mah battery. Before I brick my phone, can anyone tell me whether they have tried using a 1600 in an SE before?

Milliamp-hours (mAh) is a general indicator of how long the battery will last in a given circuit. You can use the 1600 battery without issue; it will simply provide ever-so-slightly less battery life than the new OEM battery.

Hello, as your problem with aftermarket batteries I advise you to chose Ifixit. Ifixit batteries have one year warranty and total support on forums and official Ifixit support trough gmail and phone. Because of this I would chose Ifixit Batteries and also they are cheap and good quality. Here is the battery: iPhone SE (1st Gen) Battery Here is the guide to replace it: iPhone SE Battery Replacement
