I have iphone 5s but suddenly the home button does not work! Suddenly I didn’t do anything I just got it out from my pocket and it wasn’t working! the touch id works fine but the home button doesn’t!
I’m afraid as soon as you replace the button you lose the touch id. Maybe start buy taking it apart and seeing if there is a reason that’s visible for the home button to stop working . Sometimes dirt and grime can get in and gum up the works . Try cleaning with IP alcohol . Check connectors and re-seat them to make sure there together ok. Hope this helps
