Hello members, Just to be sure ill start with the following terms: Glass = glass Digitizer = touch LCD = display I got a new iphone 4s glass+digitizer+lcd assembly and I accidently ribbed this cable: it is the touchscreen ribbon. Is this fixable?:
because ebay sells: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Touch-Screen-Dig… I know I can just better buy a whole new assembly, but im just wondering if touchscreen is fixable?
Yes but I wouldn’t, a lot of work is involved to change just the glass/digitiser and generally the LCD ends up breaking anyway so to save time and grey hairs i’d just get another assembly.
Looks like you need to replace it all LCD and digitizer
