Hi, I bought this MacBook Pro on December and on May I hurt the screen of the MacBook and I broke a little part of the front bezel screen. I will send you a photo. I bought the bezel front new and the kit to replace the old but I don’t know if replacing the bezel front it will be good. So Can I repair it or not?
If you got the replacement chin plate, taking off the damaged one is just a matter of care so as not to damage the areas behind it. Here’s a guide still in progress which should help you see whats just behind Replace the LOGO Baffle on the screen with the MacBook Pro 15 “Touch Bar 2017 logo You’ll want to use a hair dryer to heat the plate to soften the adhesive but without cooking the LCD panel. I would use some Polyimide Tape to protect it or hold a shield in front of it.
