My iPhone 5S fried itself somehow. I just picked it up one day and it was hot and unresponsive. My computer does not recognize it. At the Apple Store, they told me the logic board is broken and that there’s no way to fix it or get the data. Based on Googling, I’m guessing that’s true, but I thought I’d ask. I wasn’t backing up to iCloud. My most recent sync was two weeks ago, so I have most of my data, but there are some recent pictures I would love to recover. Is there any way to recover data from the phone?
there is no way of recovering unless the phone boots to main screen dont let anyone tell you different and spam you with recovery programs that will not work as the phone needs to boot to main screen
If the CPU and main flash is intact, then in theory it is possible. If the CPU and/or main flash is dead, Good luck beating AES256 then.
If you don’t have the backup file and your computer can not recognize your iPhone, you can not recover the photos from your iPhone 5.
cant you take out the storage and put it in a other iphone 5 btw i got the same problem motherboard is death and cant get my data my phone is not responding just nothing
Sorry to hear that. Maybe you can try some iPhone Data Recovery toolkit to recover them. You just need to run the program and connect you iPhone. There are three modes inside this toolkit. Maybe you can get further help in this tutorial about how to recover data from broken iPhone 5.
