My trackpad isn’t clicking (making clicking noises) and i thought maybe i can inspect it to see if something is stuck in between or the screws are loose. Now IF i do take the battery out (which is glued in) to access the trackpad will I be able to reuse, reassemble the battery again or would I need to buy a whole new battery? Also what would happen if i am very good at taking out the battery without any bending at all what so ever? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I do not use iFixit method of using heat to get the batteries out. I fill a syringe full of methanol (pure alcohol) squirt it under the battery to loosen the glue. I then pry it out one at a time without destroying the battery. I have yet to have a failure, but I’m a working tech, I use the guides, write some, but I have to get it to work or I don’t get paid ;-) I also can’t take an hour using the heating method, my method takes me about ten minutes.
Not recommended. Just look at what a mess Samsung is in. If you don’t want your computer to burn up, get new batteries.
