Magnetism only effects magnetic storage systems like HD’s or floppy drives. While its possible to magnetize the steel parts the amount of magnetism need is far greater than what the mat has. You’ll be fine
Absolutely fine. I use one for every phone repair I do. Ive had many logic boards on these mats.
