I have slight corrosion on my logic board. Can I place a different model year logic board, but same model (a1466), in my MacBook Air?
Sadly, there is enough physical differences that make this just not worth the effort. Besides, the lower performance of the older series would make this less desirable. Best to get the correct part (used) or look at getting a new system and selling this one for parts.
