The iPad tells me that no Air Print printer can be found. Is there any way to print to an XP-245 from an iPad please?
The problem is that the XP-245 is not equipped to use Apple Air Print. I found that the Epson app enabled me to print photos but that was it. I then found Epson Connect where I could give my printer an email address and send documents to it. I haven’t fully explored this feature but it does work, after a fashion.
Make sure that your printer is powered on and connected to the same WiFi network as your iPad. Then look for the printer on the iPad. If that doesn’t work, turn both off then back on again and repeat the first actions. If that continues to not work and you need a quick fix, check to see if your printer has an email that you can use to print.
You don’t need airprint, as long as the Epson supports Wi-Fi or is on the same network you are on. Download the “Epson iPrint” utility, and you can print PDFs, Web Pages, or photos directly from this app.
