I first want to thank everyone in this community. Next, my question: after replacing my iPhone 6 screen, the home button doesn’t work. Not sure if I miss connected a flex cable or it’s something else. But I don’t have the passport to get in and without that home button working, I can’t do a factory reset until the phone shuts down( I can’t shut the phone down manually, need to wait for the battery to drain).
so right now, I want to get into the phone to reconnect the fleet cable when I replaced the screen. Do I need to wait for the battery to drain to do this? Any solutions are greatly appreciated!!!!
You don’t have to wait for the phone to die, just open it up and disconnect the battery, it won’t cause any harm.
