Okay so I don’t have much money to pay for a new computer so I want to try to make it better myself. I’m not really a computer wiz but i am the son of an electrician so i know my way around wires, and i have messed with some(2) computers before. I was wondering if i could buy the 661-5937 logic board to replace my 661-5306 logic board (for the better processing power with the intel chip). so The question is basically if the 661-5306(2011 21.5” iMac’s logic board) will work with the 2009 21.5” case, screen, parts, etc.. If not is there any way i noticeably can up my computers processing power on a budget?

Apple tends to mix things up! The 2011 logic boards will not properly fit into the 2009 case. There are a few other things which you can do to get better performance from your system.
