Sadly, your system only offers one SATA port. But it does offer a PCIe blade SSD slot! Maybe you need to re-think things. keep your current HDD and look at getting a blade SSD. Or, look at getting a Hybrid HDD (SSHD) replacing your current HD with the SSHD. If you do pull your current HD out I would recommend getting a two bay Thunderbolt case. That way you have future options!
If you are going to be using the old hard drive for storage, I would recommend attaching it via USB as, most boards do not have enough connections to carry more than one internal hard drive. The only way you could potentially do this is if your internal logic board has a spot for a EMMC\M2 slot where you can insert a card SSD. Hope this helps.
