You MacBook Pro uses a SATA interface so no you can’t use this SAS drive as it’s not compatible. Instead you could go with either of these two drives: Samasung 850 EVO. They offer both a 2 TB & 4 TB drives. Samsung also offers an ultra large 16 TB SSD as well (well beyond what most people would need)Crucial MX300 The largest they offer is a 2 TB Neither SanDisk, Kingston or Transcend don’t offer anything larger than 960 GB in 2.5" SATA The SanDisk drive you listed is quite expensive! Why do you think you need such a drive? Maybe we can offer you some other alternatives. References: AnandTech - 2 TB Samsung 850 EVO & Pro SSD review AnandTech - Crucial MX300 Review
