My iPhone 5C only has 5MB of storage. Can I increase this?
Technically speaking, yes. Practically, not really. The only way to upgrade the memory is to remove the NAND IC, reprogram a new one and solder it back onto the logic board. This is an involved and advanced micro-soldering repair requiring access to a NAND programmer and specialized soldering tools. It’s not economically viable for an older device like the iPhone 5C as the repair cost would greatly exceed the value of the device.
