Is it possible to open my phone to remove the battery to reset the phone?
Removing the battery will only restart the phone. In which case you can do by simply holding down the power button for 30 seconds. If you want full factory reset, go to settings, backup and reset, then reset it. This will delete all data. I can’t find that this model has an easily accessible back panel, so unplugging the battery will require some disassembly. Hope this helps!
