The other day I dropped my phone and it rolled under the railing on a third floor balcony and fell to the first floor. The screen is fine, but now my camera and flash don’t work, when I call, sometimes no sound comes through on either end, and any auxiliary plug I put in the port barely works half the time. Is there any way I could fix these issues on my own or with a service?
Ben Jaeger, the first thing you want to do is to disassemble your phone. Here and here as well are some pretty decent videos about how to do that, then evaluate for any broken parts. Check your logic board and connectors carefully for any cracks or other damage. For parts, do a search with your favorite search engine or use the vendors listed in the videos.
