I have broken my headphones sliders, I hope you have some great ideas how can I fix them :) (image link below) http://oi66.tinypic.com/w0ovmq.jpg

Hi, If you are the only one wearing them and ’looks’ aren’t a problem and you don’t have to adjust them too often, you could try the following:

  1. Make sure that they are adjusted to how you like to wear them.
  2. Place a piece of reinforcing material* on both the inside and the outside of the band, overlapping the break, if possible by about 1’’ (25mm) either side of the break, (2" (50mm) long piece of material on both sides in other words).
  3. Wrap tightly with duct tape or similar strong adhesive tape, overlapping onto the band at each end. a good piece of reinforcing can be found at a hardware store where they have free samples of ‘colorbond’ fencing plates (to show the colours they offer in their solid metal fencing panels products) . These are strong, thin (<1mm), coloured galvanised iron samples usually the size of about a 1/2 a credit card. You can then cut to size (length and width) with tin snips or a hacksaw. You may find something similar where you are.
