My 13 inch Macbook Pro A1502 Late 2013 LCD is just broken. I managed to get hold of an A1502 Early 2015 (EMC 2835) screen. Would that work with my macbook? I have not got the courage to fit it on in case something else might break. Thank you.

No. the late 2013-2014 screens cannot be swapped with the 2015 screens or vice versa.
