I am wanting to change my battery. I made sure I followed the first step where we are suppose to type in the terminal so computer does turn on when lid is open. Although each time I do I get this image when I press down on the power button. It will go away after 5 seconds or so. This also happens when I lift up the top where the image reappears.
So you’re trying to perform the first step, but the computer only gets to this point? Realistically the first step is purely precaution. It is not necessary. But it does prevent the machine from coming on when you’re not expecting or wanting it to. If you’re getting this, the battery isn’t even charged enough to power on so I wouldn’t be concerned.
