Not really, If you get the replacement battery kit MacBook Pro 13" Unibody (Mid 2009-Mid 2012) Battery you’ll get the needed tools within it. The problem is the Essential Tool kit does not offer the needed bits you need for this task. If you can’t get the battery kit then you’ll want this tool kit Mako Driver Kit - 64 Precision Bits as it has all of the needed bits, You’ll still need to get a Spudger or two. I modify the straight edge with a file so it’s a bit thinner at the end.
