That slot is part of the logic board. Like all the other ports and the Graphics Chip it’s not really a user replacement item. That’s not to say it couldn’t be done, but you’ll find it cost prohibitive to: A). find a replacement part and B). find someone with the skills and equipment needed to replace it. IMnsHO it would make more sense to replace the logic board, OR if that’s the only problem get an external (USB) card reader. You can replace the I/O Board which is NOT the motherboard. It’s not expensive at all.
