Solved Can I Change Logic Board From 2 2Ghz To 2 4Ghz And Use Same Ram Macbook Pro 15 Unibody Late 2011

The logic board on my MacBook Pro has a damaged video card. The only solution seems to be to change the whole logic board. The current clock rate is 2.2Ghz and I have installed 16GB RAM. So, the questions are:

1. can I change the logic board to a 2.4GHz version?
2. If so, can I use the same RAM chips (2x8GB)?

Should be able to as long its from the same make year and model.
