Hi, first of all, I was wandering, why apple put 2 cooling fans into 13 inch macbooks with Touchbar, but put only one to the one with function keys? Anyone know why? And is it a dealbreaker? And if so, can you a add second fan to it? Thanks for answers
There’s no room to put in a second fan. Note the differences in the 13" model CPUs: Function key models use: I5-7360U & I7-7660U - 15WTouchbar models use: I5-7267U, I5-7287U & I7-7567U - 28W Very different CPU’s (performance). As if thats a deal breaker for you then you’ll need to get the model with the dual fans. But you would give up the removable SSD drive.
