Hi, I own a 13" Late 2013 retina MBP (without the force touch trackpad). Would you guys know if it’s at all possible to swap out my built-in trackpad for the Early 2015 rMBP’s Force Touch trackpad? Can’t seem to find anything about this at all online.
Sorry its just not possible.
I don’t think it would be possible. It would take a lot of work to put it in there then it would take work, more than likely work you’re not capable of doing, installing the ability for the logic board in your mac to support the trackpad… So simply, it would take too much time if it where possible and simply not worth someone’s time or money to attempt to make it work. Although it would make a great YouTube video and I’m sure people would watch it. So if you would like to attempt it and you believe you have the intellectual to attempt such then by all means do so. (Not meant to be offensive or call you dumb.) Eli
